The dining experience in Jackson is ever evolving and improving. Any pallete can be staisfied. Steakhouses, sushi bars, traditional and contemporary American cuisine, eclectic dining experiences, pizzerias, and fast food can all be found here. There are quite a few dining options out there, so take some time to explore.
The Jackson Hole Dining Guide provides sample menus, pricing information, hours of operation, and a map noting restaurant locations for many area restaurants. A printed version can be found all around town, particularly at lodging establishments. This can be an extremely valuable guide in determining where to eat.
Dishing provides a fresh and unique perspective on food and drink in the Jackson area and beyond. Innovative design is reflected in both print and online media platforms.
Check out Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream for a delicious treat. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Cabernet Sauvignon.
During the Summer months take advantage of the outdoor dining options around the valley. Many dining establishments have outdoor dining areas, rooftop decks or patios that, each in its own way, will provide unique perspectives of the valley. Dramatic views of the valley are readily available.
General Jackson Hole Dining Information
During the Summer and Winter season you will find most, if not all, restaurants available to you. During peak season it is often hard to acquire tables between the magic hours of 6:30p.m. and 8:30p.m. reservations recommended.
The late Fall and early Spring can be limiting. As the tourist season wanes many dining establishments may close for a period of time. The good part is that the ones that are open often offer fabulous dining specials. Check the dining section of the Jackson Hole Daily for coupons or specials.
Reservations are recommended for finer dining establishments to ensure getting a table at your preferred time. Groups of 6 or more are strongly suggested to plan ahead and make reservations a day or more in advance to guarantee the preferred dining time.
Christmas can be especially busy, book 30 days or more in advance!
Combine a dinner sleigh ride and elk viewing at the Mill Iron Ranch. Head South of town to and hop into a horse drawn sleigh for a short ride followed by hearty Wyoming dinner.

When in or around Rumney, NH, I strongly recommend the Common Cafe/Tavern for a bite. I first frequented the Common Cafe in August of 2013. Having spent time in Rumney as a child I was familiar with the space as an antique store in the barn attached to a house on the Town’s Common. The rebirth of this old inn is inspiring. The food in phenomenal, and the hospitality equally as good. The proprietor, Brian, is an entertaining individual with …

The Handle Bar at the Four Season Resort is now open. A guest appearance last night by Jim Belushi turned into a lively performance celebrating the opening of Jackson’s newest watering hole. During the set, his daughter joined in on a few songs for the crowd as well. Everybody enjoyed the evening and service seemed to be well on top of things.
Stop by and enjoy some food and drinks after a hard day on the slopes. The new …

When visiting the Naples Florida area in late October 2012, I ran across Del-Mel Jamaican Restaurant. When traveling, I always look for the “authentico” food experience. Sometimes it takes a little research and asking around, other times you just get lucky and stumble upon a truly great dining experience. The Sweet Tea is absolutely delicious.
The food is amazing and definitely made with Love. The proprietor, Pauline, takes care in creating authentic Jamaican/Caribbean dishes. Her restaurant space is quite possibly the …
