The Rock Creek Fire is burning in the Red Top Meadows area on the South Western edge of the Jackson Hole valley. There are firefighters on the scene and at least one helicopter working the blaze. The fire apparently was first reported late Saturday afternoon. An evacuation advisory has been issued for residents in the area. No statement on the fires cause has been released.
The fire should not have any significant impacts on commercial outfitters in the area and business should continue as normal in the town of Jackson.
